She earned her B.S. in Biotechnology and M.S. in Animal Biology from UC Davis, followed by a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Cornell University. She later conducted postdoctoral research at Penn State and served as a Research Geneticist with USDA\u2019s Animal Genomics and Improvement Laboratory, where she partnered with the Council on Dairy Cattle Breeding to deliver national genetic and genomic evaluations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At DRMS, Asha provides leadership to staff, producers, and service affiliates with a focus on supporting the nonprofit\u2019s mission of serving dairy with research-backed tools and exceptional support.
