Bio

Sara brings more than 14 years of experience at DRMS and a lifetime of involvement in the dairy industry. She earned her B.S. from Iowa State University and grew up on her family’s dairy before gaining further experience working on a 500-cow herd in northeast Iowa and at the Iowa State Dairy Farm. These roles gave her a deep appreciation for the daily challenges producers face and the importance of accurate data.

At DRMS, Sara works on the Quality Assurance team, where she helps test and refine tools like Dart, PocketDairy, and PocketMeter. Her work ensures that producers and service affiliates can rely on DRMS software to support better herd management decisions.

Sara values DRMS’s producer-focused mission and enjoys being part of a team that continually improves its tools. When she’s not working, she often attends ISU football and basketball games and eagerly anticipates the cooler fall weather.
